JEWELLERY CARE

Use only warm soapy water and a soft toothbrush to clean your jewellery. Store your jewellery in its supplied reusable box when not being worn. Remove jewellery when bathing, sleeping and exercising. Gemstones and diamonds must be treated with care, cleaned regularly and checked for damage. Do not drop your gemstone jewellery on hard surfaces, expose to undue force or extreme changes in temperature.

PEARL CARE

Do not drop your pearl jewellery on hard surfaces, submerge in water, wear with open woven clothing, spray with perfume or expose to cosmetics of any kind. Pearls should be cleaned with a damp cloth but never submerged in water or sprayed with cleaning products. A good rules of thumb is to put your pearl jewellery on last before leaving the house.

DESIGN

The design process is based around experimentation and each piece can vary slightly from the one pictured on www.seb-brown.com. Slight variations in stone colours, overall shape, texture and finish may occur.

QUOTATIONS

Quotations via email, phone or in person are valid for 21 days from date of issue.

BESPOKE

 

All bespoke pieces are final sale. Each piece is individually hand made for you, therefore returns, exchanges and/or alterations are not possible. By purchasing via www.seb-brown.com and/or paying a deposit or balance invoice you are agreeing to terms and conditions herein. A bespoke piece constitutes any piece which has been altered from an original style, ring size, stone selection, stone layout, finish or metal choice listed on www.seb-brown.com

 

BESPOKE DEPOSITS

For bespoke pieces, a minimum 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure the order. The payment of the deposit is deemed as 'sign-off' on the piece(s), and no changes can be made after the deposit is paid. This includes but is not limited to metal type and finish, ring size, chain length, stone selection and/or stone placement.

RE-SIZING

For client supplied sizes a minimum $100AUD fee is incurred for re-sizing. This excludes return shipping, duties and taxes. For incorrect ring sizes ascertained in person by staff at Seb Brown Pty Ltd, one (1) re-size will be completed free of charge. We reserve the right to refuse completing a ring re-size.

Seb Brown Pty Ltd must be notified with your intention to re-size within 14 days of delivery of jewellery. We cannot re-size more than 2-3 sizes from the original size. Certain ring styles cannot be re-sized. We cannot resize rings more than once.

 

 

REPAIRS

We reserve the right to refuse a repair or re-size on a piece of Seb Brown jewellery which has been altered or adjusted in any way by another jeweller or a third party. This includes alterations to stones, ring size, chain length and/or surface finish. Free repairs (excluding postage, duties/taxes and handling fees) are offered on pieces deemed faulty due to poor craftsmanship. Seb Brown Pty Ltd can provide repairs within reason for a mutually agreed fee between Seb Brown Pty Ltd and the customer.

Manufacturing faults do not include:

Broken, snapped or damaged chains, earring fastenings and/or clasps

Chipped, cracked, lost or broken stones and/or pearls

Bent, snapped or misshapen rings

Oxidisation or discolouration of metals

 

RETURNS AND EXCHANGES

 

If you are unhappy with your item it can be exchanged free of charge (excluding any additional charges) for another item or a credit note. The piece must be returned to Seb Brown Pty Ltd within 14 days of original purchase. Returned pieces must be in original condition, unworn and unwashed, with a purchase receipt and original packaging. Please return pieces in their original packaging or a sturdy box. Do not send jewellery to us in an envelope, this violates our return/repair policy and will be returned to sender at their expense.

Chains and necklace purchases are final sale. No exchange can be made on chain length.

Seb Brown Pty Ltd is not responsible for taxes, duties, levies or any charges on incoming parcels for exchange, return or repair. This is the sole responsibility of the sender.

 

REFUNDS

 

A refund will be given as a last resort if the piece received is faulty. We cannot offer refunds for items lost, stolen or damaged during shipping or for change of mind. Refunds are only possible within 30 days of original purchase.

 

SALE ITEMS

 

Each sale item is sold 'as is' and we are not responsible for any faults or incorrect sizing. We reserve the right to refund sale items at our sole discretion. Sale items are not eligible for return, re-size or exchange and are final sale.

 

ORDER CANCELLATION

Written notification of your intention to cancel your order must be received by us within 12 hours of placing your order. This includes payment of invoice deposit, balance, online sale or personal order. If production has commenced we cannot cancel your order and you will forfeit your deposit.

STOCKIST TERMS

These terms are relevant to www.seb-brown.com and Seb Brown Pty Ltd and orders placed in person or via email and do not relate to any pieces sold at our network of stockists or third party resellers.
